Pre-procedure:

Remove all makeup.

Post-procedure:

Some patients report temporary discomfort from the injection.

The initial effect of the injection is seen within 3 days, reaches a peak at 1-2 weeks, and stays with you for 3-4 months. Usually Botox® treatments are required only 3-4 times a year.

Most side effects are transient and local.

The medication will be injected into the relaxed muscle with a very fine needle.

In our office we are using it only for cosmetic reasons to improve the appearance of unwanted wrinkles.
